FGD tower plan roof demister
The roof type mist eliminator consists of two layers of herringbone defoggers and three layers of flushing pipes. The first-stage demister is coarse demister, and the second-stage demister is fine demister. Connecting pieces are used between modules and bolts are fastened. There is a square tube support under each module to increase the load-bearing capacity. In the FGD system, there will be droplets in the flue gas after spray cleaning. In order to ensure the safe operation of downstream equipment, these droplets must be removed. Droplet separation is accomplished in a two-stage mist eliminator, with the ridge mist eliminator located on the top of the tower in an integrated design. The flue gas passes through the demister and then upwards into the clean flue gas duct. The first stage of the mist eliminator can remove larger droplets, and the second stage removes the remaining smaller droplets. The mist eliminator needs to be flushed regularly during operation.
The tube enables the demister to remove large mist droplets, which is effective in removing large mist droplets larger than 400-500. It prevents most of the dust and gypsum slurry from directly entering the secondary demister. It is easier for dust and gypsum slurry to stick to the tubular demister. Rinse thoroughly. The rhino-ridge type mist eliminator is not prone to secondary water entrainment, and the flue gas flow rate limit reaches 7.5m/s. This mist eliminator combination is more suitable for desulfurization conditions where the flue gas contains high dust concentration and a large amount of gypsum slurry.
